Future of Fitness
Future of Fitness is a top-rated health science, fitness, and wellness interview podcast featuring bleeding edge experts and entrepreneurs, with over 200 episodes and counting. Eric Malzone, the host of FoF, is a business coach in the fitness industry and he uses the Future of Fitness podcast as one way to establish his authority in the niche.
We were approached to help increase social and brand awareness around the Future of Fitness podcast, which would lead to increased podcast downloads and email list subscriptions. Eric preferred fewer, higher-quality social posts, which meant less frequent posting – something that can and does negatively affect algorithms across all social media platforms. Eric was also unable to devote time to audience engagement during the campaign.
Growing Future of Fitness posed a unique challenge as there were a number of limiting factors: The website was built on Squarespace and it didn’t host any of the podcasts natively, nor did it host a blog of any kind. We were limited to social media channels for growing awareness around Eric’s FoF podcast.
What we did
We ran the podcast through our Social Omnipresence program. After discussing social channel opportunities with Eric, we decided to focus primarily on Instagram, and Facebook for three months.
